Our Approach to Counseling Is Simple:

the relationship is everything.

How we’re different from other therapy practices:

We operate as allies rather than authorities, sitting in the room with you non-judgmentally.

We have multiple Ivy-League and highly trained therapists on our team. In short, we know our stuff.

We welcome sweatpants, snacks, and real language in session. We want you to show up as yourself.

We offer teletherapy and digital forms for convenience (because we don’t need to make things harder than they have to be).

We tailor our treatment approach to the client’s individual needs as opposed to using blanket approaches.

Our offices are modern and comfortable like a living room. They feel good to be in.

We’ve had success treating even the most resistant clients with our engaging and easy-going therapy style.

We WON’T sit and stare at you in silence or continuously ask “how do you feel about that?” because well, that’s awkward.

Support That Meets You Where You Are

Common things people come to us for include:

Anxiety

Depression

Trauma

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Relationship Issues

Eating Disorders

Parenting Struggles

Life Transitions

Grief/Loss

Child/Teen Issues

Struggles with your mental health do not stay neatly in one area of life. They can affect your relationships, your work, your parenting, and even the quiet moments when your mind will not slow down. Our therapists create a dedicated space to slow down, understand what's going on, heal, and start building a life that actually feels like yours.

Every person who walks through our door (or logs on from their couch) brings a different story. We tailor our approach to fit you because there's no one-size-fits-all path to feeling better, and there shouldn't be.

Frequently Asked Questions

We know exploring counseling can feel overwhelming, so here are the answers to our most frequently asked questions. If you don’t see your question here, we are only a message away.

  • We support people navigating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, OCD, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, and more.

If something is affecting your well-being and getting in the way of the life you want, that's worth talking about.

  • You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. If you've been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like something just isn't working, that's enough.

Growth doesn't require hitting rock bottom first. Reaching out is the hardest part, and we make it as easy as possible from there.

  • The cost per 50-minute session ranges between $150-180 depending on which therapist you are working with.

We also have Clinical Mental Health Interns who are able to see clients at a much lower rate.

We accept cash, check, all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA cards.

  • Out of respect for client confidentiality, and a few other reasons that you can read about here, we have chosen not to accept insurance directly.

However, we can provide a “super-bill” statement for you to submit to your insurance company in an effort to receive out-of-network provider reimbursement (typically 60-80% of the session cost, depending on your plan).

We are also partnered with a billing concierge service who can do all the work for you. Many of our clients utilize this benefit to access affordable therapy.

    Check your out-of-network reimbursement HERE.

  • This really depends on your needs. Every client’s circumstances are different. Some clients are looking for short-term, solution-focused support, while others want a longer-term therapeutic relationship.

We will discuss the frequency of visits that best fits your needs.

In general, we recommend beginning with weekly visits for the first month to build momentum and then evaluating progress and adjusting as we go.

  • Our offices are open Monday-Saturday offering a variety of booking options, including after-school/after-work hours.

You can view each individual therapist’s schedule through our online booking platform here.

We require 24-hours notice for cancellations in order to avoid the late cancellation/no-show fee.

  • We value client accessibility and convenience, so our virtual video counseling sessions are conducted through SimplePractice, a HIPAA-compliant teletherapy app similar to FaceTime or Zoom. It is easily downloadable to your phone, tablet, or computer.
