I care deeply about empowering my clients to live healthier, happier lives. I have worked with children, teens, adults, individuals, couples, and families throughout my career. I specialize in helping my clients increase their self-esteem, work through identity issues, conquer anxiety, improve communication, set healthy boundaries, and explore their attachment styles
In my work, I have used a wide range of therapy modalities, including Person-Centered, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, Gottman Counseling Techniques for Couples Therapy, Narrative Therapy, MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Trauma-Informed care.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy exploring nature trails, painting, and ranking the local boba tea shops!
COUNSELING APPROACH
I approach therapy collaboratively, meaning I genuinely work with you rather than directing you. I know that every client's needs and challenges are unique. Therefore, I take a flexible approach to treatment so that I can provide a model of therapy that you feel is a perfect fit for you. It is important to me to provide a warm setting where you will feel truly seen and heard. To do this, I focus on providing a safe, judgment-free environment where you can be your most authentic self. Together, we will work to explore your needs, discover your strengths, and determine a plan of action for achieving your goals.
I look forward to meeting you!

A THERAPIST WHO KNOWS HER STUFF
I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I worked within the University Clinic, providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, children, and families. I also facilitated psychoeducational groups, process groups, and individualized therapy in an inpatient behavioral health facility, applying evidenced-based techniques and interventions to achieve each client’s therapeutic goals. I am now a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Raleigh, North Carolina, offering both in-person and virtual therapy sessions.
